Maggie Macdonald is a contemporary artist and poet widely known for her signature style of vast fields of color soaked into raw canvas and linen. She creates mixed media artworks inspired by the movement of the ocean and the intricacies of human interaction. Her work, often accompanied by poetic or literary elements, shares the stories of her current reality and explores what it means to be human.
Maggie's signature style has been showcased in galleries and exhibitions across the United States. An artist since her youth, she has always delighted in her own creativity, learning, and cultivating her personal style through her early years and into her twenties. Maggie graduated from Converse College with a degree in Studio Art in 2018 and has been creating, painting murals, and traveling ever since.
You can find Maggie living and working in the Upstate of South Carolina, primarily in her studio, where she builds and stretches her own canvases and creates whenever she can.
