Brooke and Chase Lawrence (b. 1995) are Puerto Rican and American contemporary artists. They met in Atlanta, Georgia where they earned their undergraduate degrees in painting and sculpture at Kennesaw State University. Brooke and Chase are sculptors and oil painters best known for using biomorphic design and biophilic mediums such as organic materials and live or preserved botanicals. They explore nature’s unique textural qualities and her relationships with human-made objects. Using natural and synthetic mediums, and a fascination with alchemy, mysticism, and magical traditions from around the world, their work encourages dialogue between art, nature, and spirituality.
